Ringen and Dagger
This class may be attended by all students.
In our Ringen and Dagger class we learn the principles of Fabian von Auerswald’s Fechtringen and Meyer’s Kunst des Fechtens (Art of Fighting) with a dagger. One of the more directly applicable HEMA Skills, Ringen techniques can be used as part of a modern self defense system.
This class is also recommended for anyone seeking extra conditioning work.
All necessary equipment is provided.
Intermediate Classes are for students who have earned their Schuler rank by completing the Beginner’s Class series, or who have equivalent experience from another Historical Fencing school.
In this class we focus on particular techniques from Meyer’s Kunst des Fechtens (Art of Fencing) using the longsword. Each class will focus on one particular technique and some techniques may spread across multiple class sessions.
Students will need a mask, gloves and training longsword.
Freeplay and Private Lessons
Freeplay is open to any student who has achieved their Schuler rank by completing the Beginner’s Class, or who have completed similar training at another Historical Fencing school.
Private Sessions may be scheduled by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org
